Child Safety Standards

These Child Safety Standards are published by EqB7OkX23, NRT Lx-97k124a258z4w-3H, registered office at Apartat de correus 1033, AD500 Andorra la Vella, Principality of Andorra, operator of the NowAbout.me website, mobile applications and related services (the “Service”).

NowAbout.me has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, the sexualisation of minors and child trafficking. These standards apply to all content and all conduct on the Service.
1. An adults-only service
The Service is intended only for individuals aged 18 or older. Registration requires a date of birth and underage accounts are refused. Accounts found to belong to minors are removed. See also our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. Prohibited content and conduct
The following are strictly prohibited and result in immediate content removal and account termination:
- Creating, uploading, sharing, requesting or linking to CSAM or any content that sexualises, endangers or exploits a minor, whether real, apparent or simulated;
- Grooming — contacting or befriending a minor with the aim of sexual abuse or exploitation, online or offline;
- Sextortion — threatening or blackmailing a person using real or alleged intimate images;
- Facilitating or promoting the trafficking or commercial sexual exploitation of a minor;
- Any attempt by a minor to use the Service, or any attempt by an adult to help a minor do so.
3. Prevention and moderation
- Public-facing text is filtered for objectionable content at the moment it is posted.
- Uploaded media passes automated moderation before wide visibility; flagged items are reviewed.
- Our moderation team reviews user reports promptly and removes violating content and accounts.
- First contact from an unknown member triggers a safety prompt with immediate block and report options.
4. In-app reporting
Every member can report a profile, message or content item directly in the app: from the conversation or profile overflow menu (Report / Block), from the first-contact safety popup, or via Support → Report a problem. Reports can also be made from the web at https://www.nowabout.me/contact. Reports concerning child safety are treated with the highest priority.
5. Reporting to authorities
We comply with applicable child-safety laws. When we become aware of apparent CSAM or CSAE activity, we remove it, preserve necessary evidence, terminate the accounts involved and report to the competent regional and national authorities (and, where applicable, to recognised clearing-houses that relay reports to law enforcement, such as NCMEC or the INHOPE network). We cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
